I just wanted to quickly tell you about something that’s really important when achieving your dreams.
Once you start working towards a specific dream, you need to have 3 important factors to succeed. If you’ve been on the i2i flagship 3 day course, you’ll know what the great W. Clement Stone tells us to have if we want to achieve. (If you’ve not been on the i2i 3 Day Course, make sure you’re following @i2iHQ on Twitter for some exciting news coming soon.)
The elements of success that W. Clement Stone talks about are all topped up with an added ingredient of ‘momentum’.
Here’s why momentum is important…
Momentum signifies movement. This is vital, moving step-by-step towards your dream is the only way you’ll get there. You have to work on your thoughts everyday to make sure you’re moving in the right direction. Your movement may be small steps, but as long as it’s movement, you’re getting there. Keep moving, head towards your dream by adding to what you’ve already worked on each day. Make today better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today.
Momentum also signifies power. When you’re moving towards something with passion and purpose, you become unstoppable. You will not let anything knock you off your path and this will be seen in your desire to achieve your dream. Your momentum will generate lots of energy. Make sure your energy is fuelling your dream, be aware of anything that could steal this energy, but if you really believe in what you’re doing, you’ll use your positive energy correctly.
Finally, momentum indicates a journey. Whatever your dream is, whether it’s a personal quest to do something for yourself or whether it’s a group project for someone else to benefit, you’ll be on a journey to get there. It starts with one small step, this could be as simple as a thought, turn that thought into action and now you’ve started. The journey is the fun part. Sometimes there will be tough days and sometimes the dream will be extremely achievable, but with momentum, you’ll continue through the ‘ups’ and ‘downs’ to accomplish what you want. Enjoy the journey!
