Hot Off The Press

Impossible To Inevitable by Michael Finnigan

Impossible To Inevitable was written with help of my New York colleague Andrew O’Donoghue. It’s a collection of extraordinary stories about ordinary people who achieved extraordinary success in the face of the greatest adversities imaginable. These stories will touch you deeply and one of them will be the exact one you need to read and learn from right now at this very point in your life.

I believe that everyone is fighting ‘a great battle’ and needs help and inspiration to win that battle. Impossible To Inevitable provides that inspiration by showing you how to turn the battle which you might currently deem ‘impossible’ to win, into an ‘inevitable’ success, by changing the way you think about life, about yourself and about your endless possibilities and potential.

This book will change you for the better; it will change your thinking; it will change your expectations; it will change your view of the future. You will read about everyday heroines and heroes who overcome life threatening illnesses, financial ruin, clinical depression and relationship breakdowns. What you today consider impossible to achieve, tomorrow will seem inevitable to achieve.

They Did You Can by Michael Finnigan

What is it that stands between you and having what you want? Is it ‘luck’? Let me tell you right now that it isn’t. Success is not about getting lucky and failure is not about being unlucky. It is about you making things happen that need to happen. Whether a spectator or a participant, we are fascinated by our sporting heroes and with their help, you can realise anything you want.

By interviewing many sporting celebrities I’ve discovered just what it was that helped them make it. Read to what these guys have to say, Sir Clive Woodward, Martin Johnson CBE, David Moyes, Sir Tom Finney, Philip Neville, Gordon Banks, Gary Kirsten, Karen Barber, Dame Mary Peters, Jeremy Snape, Eric Simons, Beth Tweddle and Jonathan Davies MBE. They have all given me their secrets of their success and I want to share this with so you can achieve your goals.

Here’s a small excerpt:

The Powerful Three
Have you heard the story about the world famous golfer Gary Player? As a young man he was preparing for a tournament by practising his bunker shots when a wise-cracking Texan challenged him to hole one of his next three shots. Player holed not one but two of the next three. Mr Wiseass said “that’s just pure luck boy,” and Player answered “Yeah, but you know sir, the harder I practise, the luckier I get.”

In 1996 at Royal Lytham, I saw Jack Nicklaus do exactly the same thing from a hundred yards. So you see, the harder you practise, the luckier you do get!

That is the bottom line. No excuses!

The Bottom Line
Face it; nobody owes you a living. What you achieve or fail to achieve in your lifetime is directly related to what you do, or fail to do. People don’t choose their parents or childhood, but you can choose your own direction. Everyone has problems and obstacles to overcome but that too is relative to each individual. Nothing is carved in stone; you can change anything in your life if you want to badly enough.

Excuses are for losers. Those who take responsibility for their actions are the real winners in life. Winners meet life’s challenges head on, knowing there are no guarantees and give all they’ve got. Never think it’s too early to begin. Time has no favourites and will pass whether you act or not. Take control of your life. Dare to dream and take risks … Compete.

The only thing that stands in your way is YOU; nothing else; absolutely nothing.

I promise you now that, if you read what the people in this book are saying to you and you take their ideas on board then work as hard as you possibly can, if you give absolutely one hundred percent of everything you have to give, then you will have your dream. You will make it happen and Fortune and Glory will be yours.
